The Beech Run Trail is a section of the Conodoguinet Greenway along the Armitage Golf Course in Hampden Township.

The Beech Run Trail Stewards are a group of dedicated local volunteers led by Hampden resident Dale Ferguson. In 2025, FoCG signed an agreement with Hampden Township as part of their Adopt-a-Trail program. The group performs trail maintenance in this section, for example:

• Invasive species removal

• Wildflower meadow planting

• Riparian buffer restoration

• Installing bird boxes

• Creating a “dead hedge fence”

• Clearing storm drains

• Installing picnic tables

An informational kiosk is located at the north end of Armitage Golf Course near Golfview Drive. Dale is also organizing occasional “Trail Talks”, watch our Facebook page for announcements.
